I won't be having this today because I'm at Gatwick airport, just about to jet off to Malta for my Christmas break.

These two photos are exactly 1 year apart. 
Left photo: quite bad hormonal health, dietary restrictions, eating to try to be thin rather than to be healthy, exercising to get lean rather than because I wanted to, not sleeping well, relying on coffee, hating myself each time I walked past a mirror, zero confidence.
Right photo: taking the time to get to know myself, accepting my body and its difficulties (hormones, intolerances etc), eating to be healthy, exercising when I feel like and only when I have enough energy to, investing in my health, embracing the reflection in the mirror in front of me, more confident.
Moral of the story: stop beating yourself up, stop hating yourself, stop eating to be skinny, stop exercising to be lean.
Instead reward yourself, love yourself, eat to be healthy, exercise to feel good within. 
Surround yourself with supportive people who don't necessarily understand you but who support you anyway. (You guys know who you are!) Find yourself somebody you can be accountable to, somebody who can guide you through the tough days, somebody who can help you understand what you're feeling and why. There's no problem with having someone help you out. We all need accountability and professional guidance. 
If you are looking for this person, I highly recommend @stevegranthealth - not only has he helped me achieve a more healthy relationship with food and helped me achieve enhanced hormonal balance naturally, but he has given me the emotional support along the way too, because some days are tough!
Anyway, now it's time for me to go kick ass in the gym (after I pick up my credit card that I dropped on the tube track yday - idiot!) and then spend the day with my man @benwestpt before heading HOME for HOLIDAYYYYYY! 🎄🎄🎄 HAPPY SATURDAY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! • SORE •
I trained hard yesterday, and I am SO SORE today. Sore in a good way. The sore that reminds you how hard you trained. The sore that will be worse tomorrow ☠️☠️ I was walking to the gym this afternoon, but made a detour and headed to @rawligion for a super healthy raw vegan and nourishing lunch instead.
Today has become a rest day. I am resting and refuelling for a big session tomorrow instead! • POWER BALL •
The best power ball ever, and guess what it's RAW VEGAN! ⭐️ RECIPE ALERT ⭐️ Ingredients:
Shredded carrots
Coconut oil
Desiccated coconut (unsweetened)
Mashed banana
Nut butter (I used both @bionaorganic cashew and hazelnut butter) 
Sprinkle of salt and turmeric
Mix in a bowl and roll into balls. Shove in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Enjoy!

I'm supposed to be reintroducing animal products to 2 meals per day, and I have no desire to do so at all.
It's funny because before starting my short term vegan 'detox' I thought I would really miss meat, fish, eggs etc. I did for the first two days, but now having been animal free for 14 days I had to force myself to eat some organic free range eggs and chicken this week.
I have not yet had anything animaly yet today. And I've not realised until now. 
I wouldn't label myself as vegan, because I'm sure I will want a good beef steak real soon, or a nice piece of fish, but my attitude towards the need to eat animal protein with each meal has completely changed.
Protein can be found in other foods, just do some research and you will learn this for yourself.
As you may have realised I love experimenting with different nutritional trends. I love getting to know my body and what it likes and doesn't like. I'm learning to listen to my body and it feels great. No pressure!

Another workout done, and boy did it feel good! 
I'm going to aim to stay on track with training over the Christmas period. 
Why? Because I feel so much better when I exercise. I have more energy, I sleep better, it helps me make healthier food choices and it enhances my mood.
Any anyway, why NOT??? Being on holiday is the perfect time for me to train, and I enjoy it so much because my sessions are not rushed. I can focus and enjoy each session with a clear mind.
Countdown to Christmas has begun, and I'm SO excited! • GOALS •
When the end of a year is approaching I always try to set my goals for the coming year.
I actually can't believe how quickly this year has passed, and how much I've managed to achieve in 2016.
I want to make 2017 even better and bigger. I am setting my goals ahead of time to ensure that I plan to succeed.

Today is the day I start to slowly reintroduce animal products.. I must say, it's a bit scary.
I was too hungry and rushed to take a photo of my breakfast this morning, but it was basically this (my breakfast from last week), minus the avocado, plus 2 scrambled free range organic eggs.

• HELLO WEEKEND •
It's been a long and hard week (month, year!!!?) and I'm ready for the weekend.
I'm ready to chill out, eat some yummy food and do some Christmas shopping finally.
I haven't done ANYTHING festive yet, because I've just been too busy. One more week of hard week next work and almost 2 weeks off work (maybe I'll leave my laptop behind too!? Yeh right 🙃) I actually CAN'T wait for Christmas, and to be home with my family ❤️🍾🙏🏽💃🏽 • DID IT •
I'm approaching the end of my 2 week organic only, vegan based detox, ALREADY!? I was kinda dreading it before I started, but I've really enjoyed the experience. The plate in the picture was my first vegan dinner, it tasted good but it was super boring... over the two weeks I've experimented with different ingredients and recipes. Things I wouldn't have done before. They've been great. I'm kind of not sure if I'm ready to start reintroducing animal products back into my diet 🙊
Here are the benefits I've felt through this cleanse:
  REDUCED BLOATING
  ENHANCED DIGESTION
  MORE ENERGISED
  IMPROVED SLEEP
  IMPROVED FOCUS
  REALISATION THAT I CAN DO ANYTHING I SET MY MIND TO. I'VE GOT THE WILL POWER & I'M STRONG! YES! .. basically I feel great.
The only things that I've struggled with have been:
  REDUCED RECOVERY FROM TRAINING & INCREASED DOMS (probably because of less protein intake although I've been having nutrient dense protein shakes and BCAA's)
  SOCIALISING - of course being vegan short term is fine because you can hold back from social occasions temporarily, but for the long term I think it would be hard. Not many places offer a VEGAN option, and VERY few offer ORGANIC food.
Does this spark a business idea for anybody? DO IT! An organic vegan chain of cafes around all the great cities of the world. I dare you! 🙃🙏🏽✌🏽️

Lentil courgetti:
Prep & cook time 15 mins
Level of healthy 10/10
Fry onion, garlic in coconut oil with some turmeric, salt, pepper and a pinch of @sweetleafstevia 
Chuck some organic tomato sauce in. I used @bionaorganic.
Chuck your courgetti in. I used @wholegood.
Chuck your lentils in. I used @bionaorganic green lentils.
Leave to soften, sizzle and become delicious.
Serve!
